How to read this certificate

Identity is confirmed by mass spectrometry, which establishes that the compound present is the compound named. Purity is reported by HPLC as a percentage of total peak area at a stated wavelength — a proportion of what the detector saw, not a proportion of the vial's mass. Net peptide content states how much of the fill weight is actually peptide, which is lower than the label weight because the lyophilized solid also contains water and counter-ions from purification.

A fuller explanation of each parameter is in how to read a peptide certificate of analysis, and the distinction between purity and net content is set out in purity versus net peptide content.

Check the batch number above against the number printed on the vial in front of you. If they do not match, this is not your certificate — search the certificate library for the number on your label.
