1. Research use only
All materials supplied by KOVA are intended exclusively for laboratory research use. They are not drugs, foods, dietary supplements, cosmetics or medical devices. They are not for human or veterinary consumption, and must not be administered to humans or animals.
Nothing on this website constitutes medical advice, and no statement made by KOVA should be read as a representation that any material diagnoses, treats, cures, mitigates or prevents any disease or condition.
2. Eligibility
By placing an order you confirm that you are at least 21 years of age, that you are acting in a research, academic or commercial laboratory capacity, and that you are legally permitted to purchase and possess the materials ordered in your jurisdiction.
We may refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including where we believe these conditions are not met.
3. Declaration and account
Materials are supplied for laboratory research use only, and are not for human or veterinary consumption. Checkout is available to guests and does not require a separate research-use confirmation checkbox.
An account is not required in order to buy. Where you choose to create one, it holds your order history and details for reordering, and you are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for the security of your credentials.
4. Orders and acceptance
Your order is an offer to purchase. A contract is formed only when we confirm dispatch. We may decline an order for any reason, including stock availability, pricing error, or where supply would be unlawful or inappropriate.
5. Pricing and payment
Prices are shown in US dollars and exclude shipping unless stated. We may correct pricing errors at any time before dispatch. Payment terms are those presented at checkout. Orders are not dispatched until payment has cleared.
6. Shipping, title and risk
We ship to the United States and Canada. Title and risk of loss pass to you on delivery to the carrier. Delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees.
7. Returns
All sales are final. Because these are research materials whose integrity cannot be verified once they have left our control, we do not accept returns and do not issue refunds. Where an order is damaged in transit, short, or not what was ordered, the error is ours to correct and is handled under our returns policy.
8. Purchaser responsibility
You are solely responsible for the safe receipt, handling, storage, use and disposal of all materials supplied, in accordance with applicable law and with your own institutional and safety requirements. You are responsible for determining the suitability of any material for your intended research use.
9. Compliance with law
You agree not to resupply, resell, export or use any material in contravention of any applicable law or regulation, and not to administer any material to a human or animal.
10. Certificates of analysis
Where a certificate of analysis is published for a batch, it reports the results of testing carried out on that batch by a third-party laboratory. Certificates describe the material as tested and are not a representation of suitability for any particular purpose.
11. No warranty
Materials are supplied "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or in connection with any order is limited to the amount paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any loss arising from use of a material outside its intended research context.
13. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify KOVA against any claim, loss or expense arising from your handling, use, resupply or disposal of materials supplied, or from your breach of these terms.
14. Intellectual property
All content on this website, including text, imagery, branding and product presentation, is owned by or licensed to KOVA and may not be reproduced without permission.
15. Changes
We may amend these terms. The version in force is the version published at the time your order is placed.
16. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Wyoming, United States, and the courts of Wyoming, United States have exclusive jurisdiction.
