Kovagen and KOVA are the same company
Kovagen is the company. KOVA is the brand mark it trades under and the name printed on the vial. You may also see KOVA, KOVA Peptides, Kovagen Peptides. All of these refer to one company, one catalogue and one certificate library, at kovagen.com.
The two names exist for practical reasons. KOVA is four letters and fits on a vial label and in a wordmark. Kovagen is the company name and the domain, and it is the name used wherever an unambiguous identifier matters — because several unrelated businesses in other categories also trade as KOVA. If you are looking for the research peptide supplier, this is it.
What we supply
Research peptides as lyophilized powder in sealed, desiccated vials — single compounds and multi-component blends. Material is manufactured in the United States, held sealed and desiccated from release through dispatch, and shipped domestically at ambient temperature, which is appropriate for the form and said plainly rather than dressed up as something colder.
Everything is supplied for laboratory research use only. It is not a drug, food, dietary supplement, cosmetic or medical device, and it is not for human or veterinary consumption.
How a lot is released
Lots are tested by an independent analytical laboratory rather than in-house. An in-house purity number is a self-assessment; a third-party result is checkable by someone who does not work for us, and the certificate names who ran it.
Identity is confirmed by mass spectrometry. Purity is reported by HPLC as a percentage of total peak area at a stated wavelength. Net peptide content states how much of the fill weight is actually peptide, which is lower than the label weight because the lyophilized solid also contains water and counter-ions.
Testing sits before release, which is the only position where it can affect anything. A lot outside specification does not ship. Every released lot has a certificate at its own permanent URL, retrievable by the number printed on the vial, with no account required — because evidence behind a login is not evidence.
Why the manufacturer is not named
The identity of our manufacturing partner is confidential and is not published. The testing laboratory is named on every certificate, because that is the party whose independence is what the reader is actually relying on.
Manufacturing location is a supply-chain fact rather than a quality claim, and it is not a substitute for one. What tells you about the material is the analytical record for its specific lot.

A supplier is easier to judge by what it refuses than by what it advertises. These are the refusals, so they can be held against us.
We do not state a purity figure that is not on a certificate
A number without a lot, a method and an issuing laboratory carries almost no information. Where a compound has no released lot yet, its page says so and shows nothing.
We do not carry a previous lot's certificate forward
Purity and net content are properties of a batch. When a new lot is released it is tested again, and the certificate published against it is that lot's certificate.
We do not group the catalogue by what compounds are for
A therapeutic category implies a therapeutic use. Grouping is structural — single compound or blend — or by chemical class, which is a fact about the molecule rather than a claim about it.
We do not give dosing, administration or reconstitution guidance
Not in copy, not in support email, not in a direct message. It is the most-requested thing we decline, and declining it is what makes the research-use basis of supply real rather than decorative.
We do not publish customer reviews
