THE VISCERAL-FAT COMPONENT
Tesamorelin is a growth-hormone-releasing hormone analog studied for its effects on the GH/IGF-1 axis and visceral adipose tissue.
An FDA-approved tesamorelin medicine reduces excess abdominal fat in adults with HIV-associated lipodystrophy. That approval does not extend to these research vials, and it does not describe general weight management.
