Quality and batch verification
Find the matching batch
Kovagen publishes analytical records by lot number. A result describes the submitted sample and its reported tests; it should not be transferred to another lot or treated as an individual test of every vial.
Check the source
The published records identify ILS Laboratories in San Diego, California. Where available, a batch page links to the issued PDF and the laboratory’s verification portal. Compare the sample, lot, report identifier and result across those sources. A verification link confirms a record, not the supplier’s entire operation.
Read each analytical method
Identity, HPLC purity and net peptide content are separate measurements. Read the method actually reported: chromatographic retention-time matching is not the same as mass spectrometry. For blends, distinguish total content, measured component results and quantities calculated from a formulation ratio.
Screening is specific to the report
Heavy metals, residual solvents, endotoxin and sterility are separate tests. Do not assume a test was performed if it is not reported. A Not Detected result is limited by its method; a Reported status should not be turned into a Pass. A result does not establish suitability for human or veterinary use.
When two records disagree
Keep the original documents and identify the specific field that differs. Ask for clarification before relying on a disputed value. Our batch pages retain source links and identify known source discrepancies; an editorial transcription check is not an independent laboratory retest.
Keep other evidence separate
Manufacturing origin, order fulfillment and analytical testing are different questions. A laboratory address does not prove manufacturing origin, and a certificate does not guarantee delivery.
