Do you ship internationally?

International supply raises import, control and approval questions that differ by destination, and a compound available for research supply in the United States implies nothing about its status elsewhere.

Rather than take orders we could not fulfil lawfully, we state the limit plainly. Shipping is US-only and that is noted in the footer of every page.

Why a US-only limit is not simply caution

The obligation to know the destination's rules sits with the party shipping into it, and those rules are not a single question with a single answer. Import classification, controlled-substance schedules, requirements for an institutional consignee and customs treatment of research material all vary by country and change independently of each other. Meeting that properly for even a handful of destinations is a compliance function rather than a shipping option.

The failure mode for getting it wrong is also asymmetric. A parcel detained or seized in customs is not merely a delivery problem: it can create an import issue for the recipient, who is often the one holding the exposure. Taking the order and letting the customer discover this at the border would move a risk we understand onto someone who does not.

So the limit is stated in the footer of every page and in the shipping policy, not only at checkout. If you are outside the United States, the honest answer is that we cannot supply you at present, and we would rather you know that before spending time on the catalogue.
