Do I need an account to order?

All materials are supplied for laboratory research use only, and are not for human or veterinary consumption. These conditions apply equally to guest purchases and purchases made through an account.

Checkout asks for your contact, shipping, billing and payment details. It does not require registration or a separate research-use confirmation checkbox.

What an account is actually for

It is a convenience, not a gate. An account keeps your order history and shipping details so a reorder does not mean re-entering everything, and it gives you one place to find the certificates that correspond to batches you were actually sent. You can order without one and never create one.

Nothing that helps you evaluate the material sits behind it. Public, with no account: the full catalogue with every compound and vial size, all prices, every compound reference page, the complete certificate library searchable by the batch number printed on your vial, and every guide and policy page.

That is close to the opposite of the common pattern, where a site requires registration to see what is sold or what it costs, and publishes evidence only after purchase. Information that only appears after payment cannot inform the decision to pay, which is the whole reason for putting it in front of the transaction instead of behind it.
